Rally in support of Ukraine held in Vancouver, Canada on February 26, 2022. Russia's invasion of my homeland of Ukraine has left the world in complete and utter shock. I was completely catatonic for two days, eyes glued to news feeds and social media. Insane to believe I was just there a month ago. It was completely peaceful, almost blissful. Any hints of war were a distant afterthought in the news. Now, my girlfriend's family is hiding in a basement and praying the bombs miss while we desperately try to stay in contact with people we know and love.
