A historical building commonly known as Woo Cheong Pawn Shop. Comprised of 4 buildings, this block was built in 1888-1900 before the First World War.It has been renovated and preserved as a historical site with a restaurant operating called Woo Cheong Tea House. It was built on reclaimed land along Wanchai (means small bay) coast of Victoria Harbour. Wanchai was a mixed commercial and residential area in HK's early colonial development. The renovation has preserved the original architecture.The overhanging balconies (騎樓), designed for hot and rainy climate, are similar to ones in Guangzhou.
