The Palace Museum of Hong Kong in West Kowloon Cultural District. Opened in 2022, it commemorated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR(Special Administrative Region). The design took ideas from the Palace Museum in Beijing, China. The renowned HK architect Mr. Rocco Yim is the designer. The shape of the museum resembles a square shaped Bronze Age cooking cauldron. The aluminium façade glitters in golden color under direct sunlight. Photo taken in winter late morning as the sun angle is lower than in summer, which increases the light golden effect.
