Crater Lake, the United States' deepest lake at 1,949 ft, with a view of Wizard Island near the center. Considered one of the cleanest lakes in the world, it gets its deep blue color from the pure water absorbing all the other colors on the spectrum except blue. Only rain and snow feed the lake, allowing no room for sediments, algae, pesticides or pollution to flourish.
