Aberdeen West typhoon shelter in Aberdeen, H.K. Aberdeen's Chinese name is '香港仔', i.e. a small part of H.K. It was the largest fishing village in the early historical development of H.K. Several decades ago, this harbour was used to pack with fishing boats that fishermen families lived on board. Fishing boats are gradually replaced by yachts. These large scale fishing boats are similar to ones in Mainland China. High shiphead is designed for fishing in open sea like the South China Sea.It's a touristic place at any time.
