Cottage Garden, in oils. By a river just over a stone bridge. A peaceful summers day. The sun streams through birch trees from a thick forest. Bright and comforting. The kind of cottage I would love to live in. Nestled in the heart of the countryside. On the other side of the bridge it could be a gate house. The edge of a country estate. Perhaps the family home of Edmund Dante or King Arthur or Robin Hood. When young I loved to make up stories filled with adventure when roaming through historic castles or country estates. I was a beautiful princess owning all I surveyed.
