Wine hills close to Bozen, Südtirol, the Mendel mountains in the background with Hocheppan Castle visible. What you may detect in the center right of the image is in fact a derelict bunker, built as part of a whole „alpine defense line“ (vallo alpino) in the 1920/1930s by the Italians (under Mussolini) against - surprise, surprise - not the Bolsheviks, but the allied German co-nazifascists. It is a fun fact and the truth - as well as a blessing - that nationalists of different nations will never be real friends, due to the very nature of their questionable ideology.
