Macro photo of a butterfly/moth wing. The colours are more than just pigments, but also interference from the intricate microscopic structure of the scales which reflect light, too small to see in this photo. To get this close, I used a Canon 100mm macro lens with a Raynox 250 lens attached. The butterfly is called a Madagascan Sunset Moth, Chrysiridia rhipheus.
