a frog on a branch

American Green Tree Frog. Their name gets straight to the point! These little frogs are most-definitely green (shades vary), and they’re arboreal - meaning that they enjoy living off the ground. The favorite habitat of green tree frogs is cypress swamps, and the borders of streams/lakes. With large tow-pads covered in sticky mucus, these animals are quite skilled climbers! Photo taken at one of Florida’s swamp sanctuaries, providing perfect habitat for this little one.
