One of Scotland's Great Trails, the 55km route takes you from Scotland's Low Lands at Balloch to the Highlands at Inveruglas across the boundary fault that separates them. Although I did not have the energy for the whole walk, I did manage to complete the first section in reverse, from Craigendoran to Balloch. 14.5 km of what used to be known as the "coffin road" with some stunning views of Loch Lomond and the Firth of Clyde is sure to brighten up your day!
