a colorful bird on a branch

This Red-faced Parrot Finch lives in the separate finch aviary within the larger aviary at Birdworld Kuranda. It got out somehow and is now trying to get back in with it's friends. No doubt the keepers will soon help it to rejoin the other finches. This species is found in New Caledonia.
