Oil on water. "Immiscible 4". The colours come from a painting which I call "Asian Gold" , where I used two golds, two reds, and black together in overlapping scumbled brush strokes. Red, gold and black are a popular colour combination in China, Vietnam and other East Asian countries. The light sources are from a light reflecting off the painting below and up and through the water and oil, as well as from one side. Immiscible refers to the fact that oil and water don't mix. Please see the tutorial on the page "Oil and water photography" on my site Tracts4free.wordPress.com.
