Last set of photos from a series of a hot springs area near Oregon's remote Alvord Desert. I'm kind of obsessed with this area and its constantly changing mosaic of colors. The red is from dissolved lava rock and the hot springs delivery a variety of minerals that create whites and blues and purples, with the sun baked mud of this extinct lake setting the yellow/orange foundation.
