This colonial architecture is a historic building. It's the Former Kowloon British School, which is the oldest surviving school building constructed for children of expatriates in the early colonial era. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the building stone was laid in 1900 and the school was opened in 1902. It's been converted into different usages and it's been the office of the Antiquities and Monuments Office after building restoration works was completed in 1992. The building was characterized by pitched roof, high ceiling and wide verandahs to suit the climate.
