The retired fireboat Alexander Grantham 'uploaded' to a promenade site and served as an exhibition gallery. It was built in 1953 by a local shipyard called Whampoa Shipyard which has turned into a private residential housing estate. The promenade site is adjacent to Tai Koo Shing, built by Swire Properties. Tai Koo Shing was also originally a shipyard before turning into a residential building estate.
