An Evening at the Pawnee Buttes - 0348 The Pawnee Buttes, grasslands and prairie are situated on USDA Forest Service Land in northern Colorado just south of the Wyoming state line. The East Butte is located on private land but the West Butte is part of the Pawnee National Grasslands.
