First Camp

We awoke after our first night in the field. The brooding clouds from the day prior had parted, and the sun’s morning rays reached our eager faces, illuminating our first campsite with brilliant light. This marked our first day of the expedition in the mountains of Patagonia. This photo represents the insignificance of us, the humans, in comparison to the majesty of Pachamama’s offspring - Patagonian nature.
