Lady Wisconsin

Growing up I visited Madison a lot. My mother attended university in Madison and my grandmother was a lawyer with an office near capitol square. I have strong memories of looking up at the capitol building, awestruck by its sheer size. Inside you are greeted by magnificent marble and precious paintings that adorn the inside of the dome. My grandmother always told me the statue atop the capitol was Miss Forward, however I just recently learned that it is in fact Miss Wisconsin. Miss Forward was another statue crafted to be presented at the Columbian Exposition of 1893. The more you know.
