gold and red dots

Oil on water. "Immiscible 2". Macro photo of olive oil drops and bubbles floating on water. I used one of my abstract paintings as a background, with light directed down onto the painting bouncing upwards and through the oil and water, and light from the side to enhance the three dimensional effect. The painting is called "Asian Gold" and is composed of overlapping brush strokes of two golds and two reds on black, because black, red and gold are a popular colour combination in China, Vietnam, and other East Asian countries.
