Early spring and the poison ivy is already sending up it's shoots. The new leaves have a reddish color and they are super glossy. Poison ivy is endemic in TN as the birds eat the berries and poop out the seeds so the seeds arrive on the ground with fertilizer. The morning light highlighted the fine hairs on the leaves as well as the gloss.
