My favorite place to stop and rest is at Lion’s Bay, a beautiful glacial water-fed provincial park dedicated to everyone who enjoys nature. There is a place to camp nearby called Porteau Cove as well as an area specific to scuba diving hobbyists. If you are traveling up to Whistler, Vancouver and would like to break journey, this location is a hop, skip and jump away from downtown Vancouver.
