I was out with a couple of friends at the beach along the Lagos coastline, Nigeria. It was like 2.pm on a cloudy day. Suddenly, I saw this fellow standing and watching out for folks who were going out to swim, making sure they don’t drown. T’was an extraordinary sight for me. Tried hard to understand how someone could just stand around all day everyday looking out for people who don’t even know he exists.
