This little fence sits around The Killing Tree in Cambodia. The precious lives of children and infants were brutally taken here, their small bodies smacked repeatedly against the innocent tree, powerless to help protect them. The bark was left with fragments of skull, hair, and blood from those that met their fate there. The small bands of colour that are left here are a reminder of the hope and love that can outshine the darkness that once took place here. We should never forget … and in not forgetting, we can hopefully remember to never return to such a dark place of hate again.
