On May 14, 2022, Japan Day organized the first-ever Japan Parade in New York City. The parade started from Manhattan Central Park West 81 st to 70 st. The Japan Parade is the first parade in New York to honor the Japanese people and their heritage. People in kimono performing kendo formation.
