This is the first photo I’ve ever edited that turned out exactly as I had pictured it in my head. My wife and I were exploring Olympic National Park when I saw this canoe on the side of the road. I put a temporary pause on our trip just because I saw potential in this shot. I got home, the shot was overexposed and didn’t feel as moody as I had imagined. I sat down for an hour and a half in Lightroom, learning features I had never used before, just to get this picture to a point that I was proud of. And I am, this is the first photo of mine that I am truly proud of.
