In late February we decided to climb the Crib Goch knife edge ridge to Snowdon. An icy breeze blew blasting snow off the wind facing rock and letting it settle in the sheltered nooks. My brother had brought his film equipment in his backpack which made for a heavy load during the climb. Here at the beginning of the knife edge summit, he rubs the perspiration from his brow. A moment of contrast; dense mountain rock and open sky, hot and cold.
