My sister and I live worlds apart, me in Asia and she in Canada. But this Christmas we got to spend the holiday together. She is my best friend, advisor and surrogate mama. A particularly special day was passed at this stunning Spa in Whistler, Canada, where we dipped between freezing and heated pools, the sauna and steam room…and repeating that circuit for hours. Highlight was sitting in the hot pool, with a full-on snow storm blowing around us, and snow flakes landing on our faces while our bodies bathed in heat. It was beautiful and sublime. A bit like my sister.
