Gazing East toward the Bonneville Speedway

Headed toward Wendover, NV, we stopped and drove towards the Bonneville Speedway where land speeds have been set for years. I stopped in awe of the variety of colors in the mountains to the north. It’s a desolate place. Salty earth, dry, cracked dirt, but a beautiful sky and visibility you just can’t get most places. This is what I saw when we stopped to take a shot of the area.
