Last day of our Iceland trip. We wanted it to be relaxing (spoilers: it wasn’t), so we only went to one location: Glymur, Europe’s highest waterfall. First you walk trough some kilometers of pure wilderness, after which you go through a small cave down to the river, that you then have to cross. A five meters broad, ice cold river. You shall cross it walking on a log while holding onto a steel rope. Except for there was no log. So you had to hang on to that rope and pull yourself across the river. My overweight didn’t quite help. Finally, after 200m of unsafe climbing there was this view.
