We went to visit the Coral Pink Sand Dunes Park in Utah one morning. Some of the sand was pristine, like here. Some was covered in tracks from dune buggies and other explorers trying to get on top of the highest dune. Some people tried to slide down the dunes on cardboard boxes, it didn’t work out but it was a good effort. Climbing the dunes was difficult, they’re not very big compared to a mountain but sand is HARD to walk in, especially uphill. So much came out of my shoes when we left there were little pink piles in the parking lot. It was a fun and quirky morning pitstop.
