a cold, beautiful place

I’m a native South Carolinian but I’ve made the frozen tundra of Minneapolis, Minnesota my home for 12 years now. Each winter I question my sanity. Recently, though, I’ve more frequently been able to find real beauty in the cold, harsh winters here. One day, while driving home from the office during a big snowfall, my eyes panned right and I caught this view. I had to capture the moment! While the picture is quite lovely, the actual view was even more beautiful in the moment. I miss the South, but I do believe that I’ve fallen in love with this cold, beautiful place!
