My barn dates from sometime in the latter 1800s and it is a classic example of post-and-bean construction. I have no idea how long this old flag has hung from that timber; it was here when we bought the house 18 years ago. I’ve taken many shots of the old flag over the years, but this is my favorite. Just a flag and a barn: you can’t get much more patriotic than that.
