Every year we go to the Teddy Bear’s Picnic and every year, without fail, it’s warm and sunny. We play traditional lawn games, hunt for the teddy bears and watch the Punch and Judy Show. This year, for the first time ever, the heaven’s opened. A mad scamble to pack up soggy sandwiches into backpacks and a collective dash to take shelter under the few and far between marquees dotted around the field. I caught sight of this sad looking little bouquet of wildflowers sitting forlornly on a picnic table and had to capture it - it summed up the great British Summertime in one image.
