I often find myself at the The MET. Its a place that filled me with wonder as a kid, so I went a lot. Now as adult its become this comforting space that feels more like a second home. I can wander,”get lost” in this place and relax. (Well not actually get lost as I know where every hallway turns…) On the night I took this picture I decided to spend the evening in the Egyptian Wing, which very atmospheric, tomb like and empty, with all these warm colors. Its the kind of feeling thats hard to find in Manhattan. So I tried to capture the therapeutic enjoyment of the night in this photo.
