This bronze and granite statue is a hidden nook on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus located in back of Schenley Plaza. It is known as the Mary Schenley Memorial Fountain or A Song to Nature. It’s is a 1918 landmark by Victor David Brenner—Brenner also designed the Lincoln penny. I took this photo on a day when the clouds were particularly enchanting and a warm spring night.
