The Beskydy Mountains are a traditional name for the mountain range in the Carpathians. Specifically, they occur in northeastern Moravia in the Wallachian region and adjacent parts of Czech Silesia, southern Poland, northern Slovakia in the Orava region and in the western part of Ukraine. The Beskydy Mountains are mostly forested mountains with rounded peaks, occasionally rising to the surface of the rock.
