Tuesday afternoon, Sarah and I had a meeting to attend in town. As we headed home, I wanted to stop and take some pictures at the park while we still had a little sunlight to work with. We started with some shots walking down the bike trail, and this was one of my favorite close ups of her face. The sunlight was too intense directly on Sarah’s pale face so I asked her to turn it into the shadow, darkening her already deep eyes, while the warm light lit her reddish hair matching her red jacket. The sunlight behind her added to the effect with an almost purplish hue of lens flare.
