Head in the Clouds

Yosemite Valley is a magical place year round regardless of the season. Visitors are treated to varying weather conditions which can add to the ambiance of one of the best National Parks out there. This particular day saw sun, rain, snow, and heavy fog which was a treat. Here the fog wrapped around the lower portion of El Capitan while the pine trees on the valley floor and top of the mountain remained visible. Dramatic clouds for a dramatic mountain.
