Mount Kawanori is a day trip hike from Tokyo. We took a train to Okutama city and then bus to get off at Kawanori Shrine. After that was just epic, it was a beginning of summer and a weekday so people was scarce. Hiking course distance was 15 km, moderately trail for beginner. This photo was taken at 4.00 pm and it was stunning view for me. Like a goddess of the mountain descend down for visitor, I was awed.
