Hong Kong City Hall High Block in the centre, with the General Post Office on the right. This used to be the waterfront in Central District, next to the former Star Ferry Pier and Queen's Pier. Now land reclamation has moved the Star Ferry Pier to the new waterfront. Hong Kong City Hall used to be the tallest building in Hong Kong 60 years ago. It's one of the 1444 historical buildings in Hong Kong and it's celebrating the 60th anniversary this year. The General Post Office is the main office of the postal service in Hong Kong. These are buildings during the British colonial rule.
