My Cuban-American friend Moonbat Pearson-Martinez operates a people-to-people tour to Cuba. I’m originally from a fishing village outside of Boston that destruction in a storm. We both live in Florida now. Moonbat coordinated a Hurricane relief effort for victims of Hurricane Irma located in the Havana area. We brought 300 lbs of food and supplies and brought it to Cuba on JetBlue. We met this family near our apartment in Callejon de Hamel. It was hot. Father was cooling down his kids in the tub outside. They smiled and posed as we walked by. Less than a mile away, a dancer lost everything.
