We were staying a new hotel called Hotel M the Innsomnia in the central Akasaka district. It’s built in converted apartment building, so you access your room via an open air landing rather than a typical (internal) hotel lobby. Since the landing faces the back of the building, you get to see that Tokyo is not all glossy and pristine. This was taken at 10am on a cold winter’s morning.
