While heading back from a weekend in Cripple Creek, Colorado, we were hit with an unexpected storm that forced us to cancel our plans for the rest of the day. On a hunch, we decided to stop by Garden of the Gods, and arrived just before they closed the front gate due to the storm. We avoided a few cars that had gone off of the road, and took a hike around while the storm caught up to us and closed in around us.
