Every year thousands of American Bald Eagles spend the winter British Columbia (where I ive). They come for the salmon run and congregate in places like Boundary Bay where I took this photo. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in January with literally hundreds of eagles in the area. they are absolutely stunning creatures - it is hard not to get goosebumps when one flies by you just a few meters over your head.
