On my way to eat before a showing of “A Christmas Carol”, I looked up to see figures standing in the yellow, glass outcropping of the Guthrie Theater. And for some reason at that moment I was struck by how amazing it looked from where I was. I think it’s because I got lost in thought about how those people were so separated from me. And I don’t mean by the thin yellow filter than contains them high in the sky, but by a lifetime of difference. Each one of those people experience a reality entirely unique from my own. I could never fully understand them, nor them me.
