We were in the MET, the Egyptian wing is splendid. I saw that piece of yellow sculpture that persists with the years, I approached and it was Tiy, the mother of my favorite pharaoh, Akenaton, the first monotheist in Egyptian history, His real name: Amenoteph IV, Nefertiti’s husband. Every time I can, I go back to New York, and of course to the Met, and I am amazed again by those mysterious sculptures, that lighting that highlights each piece. It is admirable
