Mountains are the best place to view the magnificence of our Earth. While climbing towards the top of Mt. Pilatus in Switzerland, the sun rose to a perfect height in the sky which highlighted the clouds as well as the mountainous terrain causing widespread scattering of blue light. Sitting on a rock, I could see all three layers viz the Lithosphere, the Atmosphere, and with us, the Biosphere. It was a sight to behold!
