We are in the village of Casaletto Spartano, in the province of Salerno, and here there is the waterfall of the Hair of Venus that springs from the waters of the Rio Bussentino. It is so called because of the luxuriant plant called "maidenhair" that characterizes the oasis. The waterfall is located at the base of an old Norman bridge and near the remains of an old mill. Wooden walkways will allow you to reach a few meters from the waterfall where the waters offer a wonderful spectacle before throwing themselves into those of the Rio.
