For this International Women’s Day, I reflect on my best friend: A nurse who has help save countless lives, a sister/daughter/aunt who ferociously advocates for her family, a traveler, who loves to experience the world around her, a lover who sacrifices selflessly, a student who can never learn enough, and most importantly, a human, with intrinsic infinite value.
