The first day of our vacation on one of the then isles of Cabo Verde: Boa Vista I decided to go for a swim. But the beach was so desolated that I decided to take a long walk to see how the surroundings of our accommodation were. Then I stumbled on this peace of old dried out wood lying peaceful on this beach. Without knowing I had taken my phone with me I reach for the pocket of my swimming short and grabbed my phone to take this beautiful picture, and then realizing that if it weren’t for this peace of wood I would have gone into the water with my phone in my pocket.
